How to get your Robinhood token

Open Robinhood in your browser and log in
Go to robinhood.com in Chrome, Edge, or Brave. Sign in with your email and password.

You should see your portfolio balance. If you see a login screen, enter your email and password first.

Open Developer Tools
Press the keyboard shortcut below. A panel will open on the right side or bottom of your screen.
F12 ⌘ + ⌥ + I or right-click anywhere on the page → Inspect
A panel with lots of code and tabs will appear. That's normal — you're in the right place.

Click the "Network" tab
In the DevTools panel, click the tab labeled Network. It records all the requests your browser makes.

Click "Network" — it's highlighted in blue above. The panel may look empty at first. That's fine.

Refresh the Robinhood page
Press F5 (Windows) or ⌘ R (Mac) to reload the page. This makes your browser send requests that we can capture.
F5 ⌘+R or click the reload button ↺
After refreshing, the Network tab will fill up with a list of requests. That's what we need.

Find a request to api.robinhood.com
In the Network list, look for any row that shows api.robinhood.com in the Name column. Click on it.

Open Headers → find "Authorization"
A detail panel opens on the right. Click the Headers tab, then scroll down to Request Headers and find the Authorization line.

The Authorization row is highlighted in amber. It starts with Bearer followed by a long string of letters and numbers — that's your token.

Copy everything after "Bearer "
Right-click the Authorization value → Copy value. Then paste it into the token field on the application form. Do not include the word "Bearer" — just the long string after it.

Copy only the long string — not the word "Bearer". The token is usually 200–400 characters long. Paste it into the Robinhood API Token field on the application form.
⚠️ Keep your token private. Treat it like a password. Never share it in email, chat, or screenshots. We store it encrypted and use it only to place trades on your behalf.
